PIRATE FUN RUN
It’s that special time of year again! The IHES annual Fun Run! This year’s event will be Friday April 12th! Our kick-off event will be March 22nd with a Pep Rally for the whole school! Your child will be coming home today with all the Fun Run information in his/her Friday folder.
Over the next few weeks there will be many opportunities for volunteers for various projects leading up to, and including, the Run! If you’re interested, please email the PTO at indiahookpto@gmail.com. There are tons of ways to volunteer...small to big, but all important!!
Fun Run Sponsorship Opportunities!
If your business would like the opportunity to Sponsor the Fun Run or you know or deal with any businesses that may, please review the attached Sponsorship Information.
Sponsors not only have the amazing opportunity to financially support a great organization and to help provide every India Hook student with a Fun Run T-Shirt, water and snack on the day of the Fun Run, they also get to promote their business with signage, fliers and, at some levels, with their logo on every T-Shirt. With electronic communications and PeachJar being used by the RHSD, this is a unique and golden opportunity to reach over 600 students and families with information about your business.

EVERY KID IN A PARK PROGRAM
Hey fourth graders! See America’s natural wonders and historic sites for free. You and your family get free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. Explore ancient dwellings. See a waterfall taller than a building. Stay close to home, or travel somewhere new. This year's the perfect time for an unforgettable outing.
This is a program that was brought back to my attention. Thank you Mrs. Kingsford!! Go to the link, click "Play" in the 4th graders box, and follow a few short steps to print your family's free pass. Then, thank your 4th grader for being a 4th grader!
Your children will have a packed full schedule at school each day. I do my best to get started as close to 7:45 as possible. It is best if students are at school by 7:30 each morning. This will allow students time to unpack and ready themselves for the day. If your child needs to get breakfast at school, they should arrive by, at least, 7:15.
