Our Mission

“Everton Elementary School, with the support of a community that values education, effectively utilizes all resources to insure a safe, harmonious atmosphere where all students learn essential skills, are challenged to reach their potential, and are motivated to become creative, lifelong learners and healthy, responsible citizens.”

PTO

Everton’s PTO will be meeting on Tuesday, March 5th at 3:15 in the Art/Music room. All parents are encouraged to attend.

Proud of Our Students

119 of our students had perfect attendance during the month of January. We have 36 students who have completed all of the ExtraMath Program. 370 certificates have been awarded to students for their progress in the Lexia reading program. Our Science Team earned 6th place in their class in the state in Science Bowl Competition. I am so very proud of the accomplishments of our students!

Making Up Missed School Days

Fayette County School Corporation is revising its district calendar due to the large number of weather closings we have experienced. School will now be in session on Monday, February 18th and Friday, April 19th. Students will also attend school on May 6th, which was already a built-in make-up day, as well as on May 24, 28, & 29, which were on our original district calendar as the beginning days of summer break.
Big picture

A Message from Our Public Library

The Fayette County Public Library is offering an exciting mystery book program for students in grades K-6 on February 19th from 4:00-5:00. Cassie Frye will be presenting mystery books, and students will decorate masks for a county literacy fundraiser. Call the public library today to sign up! 827-0883
