What farming is like in Mesopotamia
Farmers wove sturdy baskets from the weeds that grew along the river banks and made pottery from the wet banks. Farmers learned that if you irrigate the land crops grow faster so farmers build canals to bing water to the lands from the rivers. Farmers planted wheat barley dates and vegetables.
