First Lady Cooper
First Lady Cooper read with the students in Mrs. Meyers' class (Our Teacher of the Year). She also visited the classrooms of two of our beginning teachers, Miss Christenberry and Mr. Lategan!
Great job, Kindergarten Team!
Our Kindergarten Team had a great turn-out for their curriculum night! Thank you for your hard work, K team!
Thank you Mrs. Sturdivant and Mrs. Slaughter
Our teachers and staff leaders are definitely one of the many strengths of P.E.S. Thank you Kelly and Elizabeth for showing us amazing technology we can use with students.
LOCKDOWN DRILL REMINDERS
1. Great job keeping our students quiet and invisible.
2. Great job having all interior doors locked.
Remember:
2. Great job having all interior doors locked.
Remember:
- Please check your back doors frequently. Several back doors were found unlocked during the drill. If you are having issues with your back door, please send me and Lynn an email.
- Do not come out of your rooms until your door is unlocked by an administrator or someone from law enforcement. Please do not unlock your doors or turn on your lights in response to an announcement.
- Please remember to "sweep" the hallways before locking/shutting your interior doors. Grab any kids you see in the hallways.
Emergency flip book
Last week everyone had a new emergency flip book placed in your classroom. This should be posted by your door. If you have an older version of this book, please discard it.
Great job, Mr. Wellman!
Mr. Wellman always goes above and beyond to support our school!
