You, or your team, have a terrific opportunity to not only show your creativity and skills, but also to win fabulous prizes!

Topics/Categories

* Pick from 2 categories to compete in:

Digital Footprint/Privacy for Elementary students OR Cyberbullying for Secondary students. *Note- All video contestants are secondary students, but you may choose to make a video for elementary students.

Deadline: Friday February 7, 2014

Winners announced during Texas Digital Citizenship Day in March

Rules

*Teams of no more than 4. You may have other actors involved

*Maximum length of video is 3 minutes

*Content must be school appropriate(Duh!)

*Choose from 1 of the 2 categories listed above

*Late submissions NOT accepted

*Avoid copyright infringements

*Post your video privately on the web using Youtube/Vimeo or another service

(you may need a teachers help if it is blocked)

*Submit the URL to jaydsonnenburg@katyisd.org including your school and team

member's names

Judging

Based on overall impression which will include:

-Clarity of message

-Meaningful(impactful) for target audience

-Fulfills contest requirements and rules

Judging is done by Non-Campus Personnel

Prizes

Team members with the winning video receive a Nook HD eReader with color, WiFi, internet browser and access to books and apps from Barnes & Noble and the Google Play Store!


Winning video and runner up will be highlighted on the Katy ISD public webpage.


All accepted videos will appear on the Katy ISD student portals.
