PROM AND FIELDTRIP REFUNDS
SENIORS and SENIOR PARENTS PLEASE READ
- Seniors must meet all 24 graduation requirements including required electives (Some examples: health, career prep, Econ, etc.)
- 3rd 9 weeks grades will be posted on Friday, April 10th. A link will be sent to you on Monday, April 13th to declare whether you accept your 3rd 9 weeks grade as your final grade or if you intend to continue coursework. The deadline to accept these terms is Thursday, April 16th. If no information is returned, it will automatically be assumed you will continue coursework. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- If you did not successfully pass the 3rd 9 weeks, additional coursework must be completed.
- If you are beginning a new course 4th 9 weeks (Health, Economics, etc.), your teacher will notify you when you have successfully completed the appropriate state requirements.
- If seniors have not taken the Civics exam, this requirement will be waived for this year only.
- Permitting the CDC has lifted all restrictions and appropriate accommodations can be arranged, alternative graduation ceremony plans will still be considered. When a decision is made, the information will be shared promptly. No decision has been confirmed as of yet.
- Once all cap and gowns are received, they will be distributed at a later date. Information about picking up cap and gowns will be given out in the near future.
- Students who are enrolled in AP courses must continue to work until all of the required course standards have been mastered. Students’ true earned average will be posted on their transcript.
- TCS students who are enrolled in ACCESS courses must adhere to ACCESS’s specific grading polices. The TCS "Learning at Home" plan will NOT supersede the grading policies/expectations for ACCESS. ACCESS deadline is May 21st. ACCESS students must continue working.
- Seniors Only Enrolled in Edgenuity: Your facilitator will notify you when you have successfully completed the appropriate state requirements.
- TCS students who are enrolled in dual credit/dual enrollment courses must adhere to the post-secondary institutions' specific grading policies. The TCS "Learning at Home" plan will not supersede the grading policies/expectations at any participating institution.
- Students who are taking courses for dual credit, will not be able to utilize the Pass/Fail option. Dual credit courses must be transcripted at the high school with the numerical earned average.
CAPS, GOWNS, AND GRADUATION
The plan to distribute caps and gowns will be shared on a later date. Students who have not yet paid for your cap and gown will find out details on how to do so in the coming weeks too.
AP Exam Information
Testing Dates
May 11, 2020 -- May 21, 2020; Deadline for submission of 2-D Studio Art and Computer Science Principles digital portfolios is May 26, 2020.
Testing Times
AP exams are scheduled for 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM, on their designated days.
Testing Locations
AP exams will be taken at home (or at school, if open)
Testing Devices
Computers, tablets, or smartphones may be used to take the exam. Students must have a secure internet connection to take the exam. Please contact your teacher or Ms. Wilson if you are concerned about needing any of these resources.
Academic Support
Students and teachers can now attend optional free, live AP review courses, delivered by AP teachers from across the country. YouTube videos and live streaming options are available to AP students and teachers.
