MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
The Mirrormont Country Club 2018 Annual Spring Cleaning and Pool Readiness Event will be held:
** SUNDAY, MAY 6th, 2018 **
This event is a great way to work off your volunteer hours before the pool even opens!! A roster of jobs available and more information about the event will be posted/emailed the week of April 16th.
Until then, just mark your calendars!
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
We are gearing up for Summer here at the clubhouse and have some volunteer positions that aren't a "roll up your sleeves and get dirty" type of role! There are two positions available that might be the right fit:
Mirrormont Country Club Rental Coordinator
- Maintain website calendar rental and MCA events;
- Reply to requests for rentals (send the rental contract along with a confirmation e-mail);
- Maintain Excel file with date, payment, etc. info in it;
- After each event, check on the clubhouse to make sure it was cleaned properly; and
- Turn in rental checks to Treasurer monthly.
Administrative Assistant to Treasurer
- Help Treasurer with data entry as needed;
- Review outstanding accounts and make phone calls to collect payments; and
- May need to occasionally attend monthly MCC Board meetings.
Please contact us if you’d like more information about either of these two positions! Email: mirrormontcc@gmail.com.

Tree management and maintenance project
One noticeable and major project at the club this year was the removal of hazardous trees. The tree crew hired worked well with our Building Trustee and completed the work in 4 days. Please take a look at the before and after pictures below. We hope the removal of the trees will provide a safer space for years to come.
BEFORE Tree removal
AFTER Tree removal
We were able to deliver some great chips to the members that requested them and we have quite a bit of free firewood that some members have taken full advantage of.
We were able to use some of the trees to line the parking lot in front of the pool area and we will also be placing some large rounds out in front of the tennis courts. We are working with the MCA to ensure that we have plenty of space for the yearly MCA spring clean up when they bring in the dumpsters.
We also have a large pile of logs that we are having picked up to assess if they are usable as lumber. Hopefully we will be able to recoup some of our costs this way.
