Parent Teacher Conferences
Thursday, Dec. 12 6:00pm-8:00pm
Your student received a grade lower than a D+ in at least one class. Your attendance is imperative!
Parent Teacher Conference Night
Parent Teacher Night is Thursday, December 12th 6-8pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/ guardians to meet their student's teachers. Parents/guardians whose student had any grades lower then a "C" on their Trimester 1 report card must attend Parent Teacher Conferences. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. This will allow you to understand exactly why your student is not meeting the grade in their class and how you can support him/her. Trimester 1 Report Cards are in your mailbox and available online.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at: bterranova@capetech.us or at (508)432-4500 ext 216.
Thank you,
William Terranova, Principal
How do Parent Teacher Conferences work at Cape Cod Tech?
Well that is a very good question!
Parents/guardians come to school and receive a copy of their student's report card and a map of the school. Parents/guardians then travel to their student's classrooms. As you arrive if the door is open, then the teacher is available. If not, you may need to wait in line or go on to another teacher who has less of a wait. If the line is too long for you then you may leave your name and number for the teacher to reach out about your student's progress. We limit conferences to 7 minutes to try to give as many parents a chance to speak to their student's instructor.

Attendance Matters
95.31%
That was our 1st trimester attendance rate! That is good, but it needs to be better. Last year our Trimester 1 Attendance Rate was 96.1%. Parents and students we need to work together to get this number up. Attendance matters.
The state expects a 95% rate for student attendance. We want to achieve a 95.9% rate for the year. We can do this, but students need to come to school everyday. No excuses. Remember, your boss will expect you at work everyday, and so will your co-workers. Build healthy habits now. Come to school because we want you here!
