Winter Weather School Planning

Dear CRE Families,


Knowing that more winter weather is on its way paired with our desire to continue to provide your child with an education, we are going to try something new. In the event of school closings for weather, we will have a virtual school day. Usually virtual means through the use of technology, given our students don’t all have access to technology we are sending home paper copies of work. Work packets were sent home with all students on Friday, February 8th, 2019.

THIS MAY BE A REPLACEMENT OF ADDING SCHOOL DAYS IN JUNE

For your child to get credit for each snow day the following must be done:


  • On a snow day, you will receive an email or phone call from your child's teacher. You must respond by 8 pm. Ideally, you and the teacher will communicate about the assignments, and the teacher will answer any questions you may have.
  • Complete the assignments (directions below)

Food Pantry Volunteers Needed

Did you know that CRE houses an amazing food pantry that serves our entire district? It is open each Wednesday from 1pm-4pm. We are looking for a few more volunteers. Ideally, we are looking for someone with computer/database experience to support the pantry each week. If you are interested, please respond to this newsletter or call the office 503-630-8552.

The Food Pantry (located at CRE) is open every Wednesday 1pm-4pm for any family with a child in the Estacada School District.
