SUMMER SLIDE:
The best thing your child can do this summer is READ, READ, READ! Unfortunately, "summer slide" is very real and can affect your student. To make sure your child does not lose the gains he/she made over the school year, please encourage them to read, write, and practice math facts this summer. Below are some ideas of things you can do to keep your child on track!
Reading
Reading out loud can help with fluency. Reading a favorite poem or text over and over again out loud is great practice. You can even race your child to see who can read faster :)
