Important Safety Message
Safety is always a priority at O'Dell Elementary, and this includes the use of our marked crosswalks and bike lanes each morning and afternoon. With the beautiful spring weather, we know we have more students walking to school or riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters. Parents, please remind your students that they should be alert at all times, follow all traffic signs, and only cross the street at the designated crosswalks with our 2 crossing guards. Mrs. Eng is at the crosswalk near the south playground, and our new crossing guard, Mr. Hester, is located at the intersection of Punk Carter Pkwy and Berry Street.

The Counselor's Corner
HONESTY ACTIVITY: Retell the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf in your own words. Discuss the story as a family. When you feel tempted to not tell the truth, ask yourself, “Am I crying wolf?” and, if so, what’s a more honest choice for me to make right now?
