CMMS Families,
Thank you for all you do to support your students and their learning! Please take some time to review your student's grades in Family Access, the end of first trimester is December 5, 2019 and we want to make sure all students are fully engaging in their learning and are growing each and every day! Remember that students may stay afterschool on Tuesdays for academic support, specific dates will be listed on the building events of the week section of this newsletter. If you have any questions about your student's grades please email the teacher right away as they are eager to partner with you to improve student achievement.
Reminder that Thanksgiving Break is November 27 - December 1!
If you have any staff members that you appreciate and would like to recognize them, please do so by clicking the link below.
PBIS Cougar Cash Protocol
After reviewing the survey results your students submitted, we have created the first iteration of our menu. Cougar Cash is a Tier I intervention which means all students must have access to these tickets. Staff will determine their plan/s for handing out Cougar Cash/Pride Tickets.
Protocol:
- Students will receive Cougar Cash for following the Behavior Expectations (see behavior matrices non-negotiable expectations below)
- Students will save these tickets until the want to cash them in (see menu below).
- Students will exchange their tickets for items off the menu on Fridays at lunch with Mr. Reid.
- Mr. Reid will place the tickets into grade level bins; we will have a grade level competition which will last all year. The grade level with the most tickets turned in, will earn a party (details forthcoming).
- At lunch, we will also pull tickets from these bins; students will be called up to spin the prize wheel with a chance to win something from the menu.
If you have any donations for the store, please feel free to contact us. 253.683.8088 or simply drop on by and ask for Mr. Reid. Your collaboration is greatly appreciated!
This information will be shared out in Advisory before Friday (11/22). Please review this with your students at home as well!
