Wasco Families,

As we turn the corner into the new year, we admire our starting position, our growth, and make new goals. As part of our reflection, we identify new ways to motivate and inspire engagement for learning. I am excited to introduce our Snowman Building Project. As a school, we will be building a snowman based on the lessons we pass in iReady. I reviewed our accomplishments from the first half of the year, and set new goals for us to attain during the months of January and February. Stay tuned for our progress! The snowman body is displayed in our Community Room (lunch room) and as we complete stages in our goal, each classroom will have a chance to add a “part” of the snowman to the body.

Kind Regards,

Principal Stephanie Brennan

Wasco CHAMPS expectations

This month we are spending time revisiting our School-wide Expectations throughout the building and within our classrooms. Our district supports the use of CHAMPS as a proactive approach to classroom management. Each day of the week our teachers are reviewing the different common areas of our school and talking about the importance of following the expectations. Each week we will share with you these expectations so that you can continue the conversation at home. Please review the Recess and Playground CHAMPS Expectations below. Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration.

A Note From The Nurse

Just a reminder when a student sees a physician for any reason i.e. cast, stitches, respiratory issues and/or medication, the health office requires a note from that doctor's visit. This way we will be able to properly take care of your student while in school.
