Student Highlight - Welding
Breanna Blair is a Junior at Mountain Range High School and a level two Welding student at Washington Square.
Breanna registered for welding as a Sophomore because her family is a blue collar family and she has always been interested in more hands on work. Her Dad is a electrician for Union Pacific and her grandpa was also an electrician. She plans on attending Ferris State to continue to study welding and will play softball at the collegiate level.
Breanna plays for one of the best competition softball teams in Colorado, The Stars, as well as playing for Mountain Range High School. She recently won first place in the Welding Sculpture event at the SkillsUSA State competition. (pictured above)
Breanna just got hired for a Welding Fabrication internship with H&H metals and will start in July.
