SSD New Staff Updates
As a part of Special School District's continued focus to further increase instructional support for students and families, starting in the fall, Special School District and The School District of University City have partnered to welcome an additional special education administrator to the current support structure. The special education structure will consist of a director of special education, two special education administrators and an instructional coach. One special education administrator will support the elementary level and the other special education administrator will support the secondary level. I am excited about the new structure as we continue to support the great work happening in the district for students and families.
Special School District will also welcome new teacher and teacher assistants at elementary and secondary levels starting in the fall. I look forward to sharing more with you about the dynamic new staff joining the team in a few weeks!
