Carpool Reminders

Carpool has gone very smoothly this week, thank you for your help with this parents! Just a couple of reminders as we start a new year.

  • Please make sure that car seats are set up for students to dismiss in the morning on the passenger side of the vehicle. We utilize both lanes in carpool and we want to keep everyone safe!
  • In the afternoon, students dismiss to carpool from their classrooms and it takes a few minutes for the first row of students to filter out. Please follow the car in front of you and avoid pulling out unless directed by a staff member.
  • If some of our younger students need help getting buckled in the afternoon, please pull through the line and ahead of the crosswalk closer to Holly Springs Road, or into the parking lot, so that we can keep carpool flowing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Please make every effort to avoid cell phone use while in the carpool line.

Thank you for your help in ensuring that our students arrive and dismiss safely!

Welcome Back!

HSES PTA Welcomes back Track 4! We have a lot of great events planned for this 2018-2019 school year for our students and staff! Forms to join the PTA will be coming home with your children soon and we really appreciate your support!

Boosterthon Business Sponsors Needed!

Holly Springs Elementary School PTA would like to provide opportunities for businesses to advertise while supporting our school. In September and October, we will host our annual Boosterthon Fun Runs, a fun character and fitness-focused fundraiser. Each student receives a customized Boosterthon t-shirt with our school logo on the front. Students’ laps will be tallied on the back. In order to provide all students with these school spirit shirts at no cost to their families, we are partnering with local businesses like yours. Students wear their t-shirts year round as a symbol of pride for their achievement. If you choose to be a sponsor, your business logo will be displayed on the back of about 1,000 t-shirts! Interested? Email us at hsesncpta@gmail.com for forms and more information. Forms and payment due August 9th!

Class PTA Reps needed!

We would like to have a parent rep from each classroom to act as a liaison between the PTA Board and parents. This rep would collect email addresses and contact consent from parents in your class and use that information to send updates, volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, etc. Since everything can be done from home, this position is a perfect opportunity for a working parent or a parent with young children at home who wants to help, but can’t come in to school during the day. Let your teacher know you want to volunteer to be your classroom PTA Rep!

PAWS!

Rent or renew one or more 19" print with your family or child's name painted on it. One Paw $50, each additional Paw $35 or renew your current paw(s)-one Paw Renewal $40, each additional $25. All of the money raised goes directly to our HSES PTA. Advertise your business with a paw for $100. Rent your "paw" until the end of the school year and you will have the opportunity to rent it again next year. Forms will be coming home with your children soon!
