Message from Principal Fredette and AP Dolan

Dear Byam Families,

We hope everyone stayed safe and warm during the storm and school cancellation. Our weather has certainly been up and down and if Groundhog Day was any indication, we will be in for more of the same. Please remember to have students bring in attire that is appropriate for outdoor play as we will always try to get out when possible. This week we celebrated 2/2/22 with a Tutu, Tie and Mix up Shoe day. Students and staff had fun dressing in an unconventional way. Our plan was to unveil the next all school incentive on Friday. Our students have worked so hard demonstrating their 3 Rs be being Respectful, Responsible and Ready and our the Roars have hit the 2/3 goal amount. Next Friday they will have earned a sledding and fun in the snow day. Keep this a secret so we can announce it on Monday but you'll be receiving additional information this week on this incentive day.

Building Traffic

With winter firmly here and piles of snow throughout the school grounds, our parking and driveways get congested. Please be overly cautious when driving during arrival and dismissal. It is important to follow all traffic patterns and adhere to speed limits as navigating the driveway is currently tighter than usual. Please keep clear of parking over our crosswalk between our main building and our fourth grade modular building during drop-off and pick-up wait times so staff and students can cross safely.
