Principal's Message

It's hard to believe but Parent/Teacher Conferences are less than a month away! We are excited about getting you all back into our building to meet with our talented teachers for parent/teacher conferences. We would like to encourage all parents to schedule an in-person P/T conference with your child's teacher. Please note that we are reserving a zoom option only for those having extenuating circumstances. Our P/T conferences will be held on October 19th from 4:00-8:00 and on October 20th from 1:00-7:00. You will receive a sign-up from your child's teacher by Monday, Sept. 26. We look forward to seeing and talking with all of our parents.

Parents, we want to thank you for your continued support with our Apex fundraiser! Please know that you are more than welcome to come up to watch our APEX FUN RUN on Thursday! We do not need volunteers for this event but if you want to see the fun the students have, come on by. We are planning to have this event outdoors (hopefully on the soccer field) so you will not need to check into the school and can just join the group outside. See the calendar below for the time your child's grade level will be running.

GRE MOVIE NIGHT IS COMING SOON!

Our PTO is sponsoring our annual movie night again this year so mark your calendars for October 7! This is a fun opportunity for students and families to be together while we watch a movie projected on the side of the school as soon as it gets dark but we need your help to make this a success. Please consider signing up here to volunteer for this evening of fun. Student Council will be working on a vote to determine which movie will be played so stay tuned!

5th grade at Starbase

Last Friday, our 5th graders had a special visitor join them while at Starbase, Kansas Senator Roger Marshall. He was able to see the programming the students get to experience and even took time to teach a lesson to the students. Our 5th graders have been enjoying all of the educational activities offered through Starbase these past 5 weeks.
