Hermes, god of sports, thieves, travelers, trade, and the messenger of the gods lives on Mount Olympus. He is the son of Zeus King of the Gods and Maia, and married to Hecate; he had many lovers however, most notably, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. Hermes also had many children, most importantly Pan, God of Nature, and Many siblings including Helen of Troy, Heracles, Athena Goddess of Wisdom, Aphrodite, Ares God of War, and Perseus. Some of Hermes' favorite activities, when he isn't delivering messages for the gods, or guiding souls to the underworld, are playing tricks on people, stealing things, debating and public speaking. Some of his interests are flying, pickpocketing, traveling, and letter writing. Finally, Hermes has invented many famous things, such as: fire, numbers, the alphabet, the lyre, astronomy, fighting arts, and gyms.
