Communication and Information Items
- Update from Superintendent Snell
- LHHS has been approved to move forward with a Junior ROTC program
- COVID absence update presented by Director of Secondary Education, Travis Motal
- Demographic Report presented by Bob Templeton of Zonda Education
Consent Agenda
- Enrollment. Current enrollment is 7,079.
- Financial Report. This report includes updates on tax collection, investments, expenditures, amendments, donations, bond status, and food service report.
- 2022-2023 High School Course Planning Guide was approved
- The Board approved the purchase of two patrol vehicles
- The Board approved the purchase of Instructional supplies for CTE Health Science Programs
- The Board approved the purchase of a Joint Election Agreement with the City of Liberty Hill for May 7, 2022 Elections and to call for an election on Saturday, May 7, 2022, for the purpose of electing two (2) Trustees to fill Place 6 and Place 7 for three (3) full year terms. The last day to file an application for a place on the ballot is Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Liberty Hill ISD Administration Office, 301 Forrest Street, 5:00 p.m.
Action Items
- The Board of Trustees approved the 2022-2023 Academic Calendar. Executive Director Bob Mabry presented the academic calendar. The calendar was a collaborative effort with input from parents, teachers, and administration. The process began in October and includes a week for Thanksgiving and Spring Break, two weeks for Christmas Break, and three-day weekends in October and February. We feel this is a great calendar with breaks at the appropriate times to maximize learning and professional development.
- The Board of Trustees approved the pay increase for Instructional Aides presented by Bob Mabry.
- The Board of Trustees approved the Guaranteed Maximum price on bid package #2 for the Santa Rita Middle School Expansion project as part of the 2021 Bond Program. Bartlett-Cocke is the contractor for this project.
- The Board of Trustees approved the Superintendent's Evaluation
- The board officially hired Madeline Davis (1st grade @ RSES), Renee Gilmore (History @ LHHS), Abby Osgood (Kindergarten @ RSEs), and Elizabeth Scott (PE @ RSES).
The next Board Meeting is Monday, February 28, 2022.

Congratulations Coach Boren!
Congratulations to our Liberty Hill High School basketball head coach, Barry Boren, on his 800th career win! On Tuesday, January 18, the Panthers defeated East View, 57-50. We are #PantherProud of Mr. Boren and our student-athletes for their outstanding achievements throughout the years. Coach Boren is a valuable member of the Liberty Hill ISD staff, and we are blessed to have him!
