COUNSELING NEWS...

Fall College/Career Presentations

All GOHS students are invited to sign up to attend one or more career/college presentations. Most will be in the Counseling Career Center on Wednesdays, with a few exceptions. The presentation will last the full period, and attendance is conditional on approval by the teacher.

MSJC Concurrent Enrollment ~ Spring 2023

MSJC has opened the enrollment for Spring semester 2023 for students who would like to take a class at MSJC while enrolled at GOHS. Tuition is free for high school students and some classes will be weighted.

  • The submission deadline is Nov 30, 2022.
  • Contact your counselor if you have any questions.

CalKIDS

The State of California is proud to announce the launch of the California Kids Investment and Development Savings Program (CalKIDS). CalKIDS gives children in California a jump start on saving for college or career training. To be eligible for CalKIDS, participants must be:

  1. Born in California on or after July 1, 2022; or

  2. An eligible low-income public school student in grades 1-12* in California.

All participants receive a seed deposit in a CalKIDS account to help pay for future education after high school.

SAT and ACT testing is still being administered at select locations. Please click on the following links for more information regarding dates, locations, and registration information.

HOW DO I ACCESS GRADE REPORTS?


Student report cards, progress reports, and transcripts are all accessible on Infinite Campus. You may view/print them on your Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal. Log in with your username/password. Click on "Documents", then click on the report you are looking for. This will launch the pdf of the report which may be viewed and/or printed.
