Year 6 have enjoyed a number of exciting activities during book week. These included a character parade, a book swap, book mark making in the library, and the opportunity to listen to different teachers reading during various play-times. We saw some wonderful costumes today. A big thank you to all who dressed up!
Last Tuesday, all the Year 6 children walked up to Victoria Peak. Each group was given the task of looking at their surroundings, through different lenses and different perspectives. These included conservationists, scientists, historians, geographers and artists. Luckily the weather was kind to us and we all made it to Mount Austin playground with enough time to spare for a leisurely lunch and play.
Thank you for all the yummy cakes sent in by 6M and 6D parents. Also a big thank you to the parents who kindly gave up their time to help.
