Principal Allen's Weekly Newsletter
September 16, 2019
Dear Spicewood Elementary Parents & Community Members,
Welcome to another week of learning and growing together as a community. As always, there are many events happening on campus this week. Wednesday is our annual Watch Dog's breakfast with Dads. Every visitor attending the breakfast will be asked to sign in in the front office. First time visitors will need to have their drivers license scanned as well. Please plan to arrive early so that you have time to sign in before the breakfast begins at 7AM.
The Director of Safety and Security for RRISD, Mr. Jeffery Yarbrough, will also be in attendance to speak at the Breakfast- I hope to see all dads and father figures on Wednesday!
Parents, we are so grateful for the time you dedicate to volunteering in our classrooms. Every minute you give makes a difference. This Thursday at 6PM, PTA will be hosting a volunteer training. I hope you can attend.Thank you for your partnership.
Have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Allen
Spicewood Elementary Principal

BREAKFAST WITH DADS
We still need volunteers for the breakfast this Wednesday, Sept. 18th. Some of you may be thinking that you'll show up and help without signing up. While that is appreciated, it is hard to plan for the event without knowing key assignments are filled. So please help out by volunteering for a slot at https://spicewoodpta.membershiptoolkit.com/volunteer/49383.
