Dear Memorial Families,
Happy November and Happy Thanksgiving! As I reflect on things I am thankful for, the Memorial students, staff, and families are at the top of my list. I am grateful for the great kids you send to school each day. Memorial students are kind and consciencious. I am also very grateful for the support and kindness you show to the school, and all the support and guidance you provide for your children.
Thank you to those who have served our country in the armed services. Memorial is very thankful for you and the sacrifices you have made. The students have worked hard to show their thanks with ther musical talents to the Veterans at our assembly on Friday. Please ask your child why we honor Veteran's Day.
Please help your children do their best at school by helping them get enough sleep. The chart below is from the American Academy of Pediatrics, and it is linked to the article, "Healthy Sleep Habits: How Many Hours Does Your Child Need?" It makes for a very difficult day when students have not gotten enough sleep.
Please call the school office if you have any questions.
Thank you for your help and support.
Mrs. Debra Misecko, Principal
