Body Image: How you see yourself compared to others.
Beauty: A pleasing or attractive person or thing.

When I think of body image I think of how you see yourself in the mirror compared to others. You talk to yourself about how you feel about your body and what you would want to change if you could. When I think of beauty I think of a person or thing attractive to most people.

Avoid Judging

Talk to them, get to know them, they might become your friend one day. Instead of bullying them tell them something you like about them.

10 facts about Body Image

1. Only one in three children are physically active every day.
2. Only 35 – 44% of adults 75 years or older are physically active, and 28-34% of adults ages 65-74 are physically active
3. Nearly one-third of high school students play video or computer games for 3 or more hours on an average school day.
4. 28.0% of Americans, or 80.2 million people, aged six and older are physically inactive.
5. Typical American diets exceed the recommended intake levels or limits in four categories: calories from solid fats and added sugars; refined grains; sodium; and saturated fat.
6. Data from 2009-2010 indicates that over 78 million U.S. adults and about 12.5 million (16.9%) children and adolescents are obese.
