JANUARY 13 - EPOCH Sound & PANTHER PEP BAND Performance
The Sun Prairie High School Pep Band, Epoch Sound, has invited the Panther Pep Band to perform with them at the SPHS Basketball Game on Thursday, January 13th. We have created parts so that all middle school band students, regardless of their performance level or the instrument they play, can participate. We are going to make a fun afternoon out of the event beginning right after school at Patrick Marsh.
How do you participate?
1) Complete the online registration for Panther Pep Band below and indicate if your child will attend the Jan. 13 event.
2) If attending, please return $5 cash to Mr. Gleason by Jan. 6
3) Make sure you have filled out a district field trip permission form in Infinite Campus.

***Please note that transportation home from the HS is the responsibility of the student’s family! Students will need to take their instruments home from the HS as well as return them by Monday for rehearsal. Please note that family members who wish to hear their child perform must purchase a ticket to the basketball game.
We are also in need of a few chaperones to help with the evening. If you would like to help, please let us know!

Mrs. Haraldson and I will transport the following instruments from Patrick Marsh to the High School and back on the night of the concert. Students playing these instruments will just need to remember to bring their music.
Bass Clarinet
French Horn
Euphonium
Tenor Sax
Bari Sax
Tuba
Concert Etiquette and Masks:
Students and caregivers should remain for the entire concert. The audience should be quiet during the performance but clap loudly after each selection! Only water is allowed in the PAC. Masks will be required.
Where Should We Park and Enter?
Please park and use the main entrance (Door 1).
Will It Be On Livestream Again?
Yes! Livestream link for those who cannot attend but would like to watch 'live' online:
Student Attendance: Concerts are an extension of the band classroom and the learning that takes place every day. Music was created to be shared and not performed in isolation (or in the band room only). For this reason, we need to perform for an audience in order to share the wealth of learning that has taken place. This sharing helps the students to bring closure to the learning process and also propels them towards the next step in the journey.
