HOW ARE YOU AND YOUR HARP?

HARP IN LA is checking to make sure everything is going great with you and your harp:

Practicing

Playing and tuning

Are you covered?

Do you need any help?

ARE YOU PRACTICING?

Even a little bit of practice everyday is better than nothing at all. You WILL get better with practice!

With each practice session, have a goal; Review what your teacher gave you for practice that week and divide it up into smaller, do-able parts. How many pieces are you learning this week? Make a goal to practice each one at least 5 times during the week, and don't forget to practice your repertoire! *

HEIDI LEHWALDER

Heidi began lessons on the harp when she was very young. This picture was taken of her when she was 9 years old; imagine how many practice times Heidi does each week! You can see more photos of Heidi at her web site HERE.

*REPERTOIRE: IT IS A FRENCH WORD MEANING; A LIST OF ALL THE MUSICAL PIECES YOU HAVE ALREADY LEARNED AND CAN PERFORM.

ARE YOU PLAYING & TUNING?

Tuning and playing keeps your harp in tip-top shape. Harps need to flex, stretch and grow their tone! Tuning and playing everyday is the very best thing you can do for you and your harp. How tuning savvy are you?
