Spring 2 - 2022
A Message from Principal Callaghan
Dear WHS Community,
As we move into the last few weeks of the school year let’s continue to find ways to support the learning by helping our young adults engage in their schoolwork and make real-world connections to the content. Let’s help our students put the spotlight on the learning that has taken place this year and the important growth they have undertaken.
This time of year represents the ushering in of Spring and a sense of renewal. It also brings about numerous activities that fill our already busy schedules. It is my hope that large numbers of students, staff, and families can all make time to attend some of the many events (see list below). These are great opportunities to see our students achieve and enjoy different parts of the educational experience.
Happy Spring!
Warm Regards,
Mr. Brian Callaghan

The Westborough Education Foundation is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week by growing a Gratitude Garden.
We invite you to show your appreciation for the talents and efforts of our dedicated Westborough educators by purchasing a pinwheel flower in their name. Our teachers and staff have had to continually adjust and innovate over the last two years. Let us recognize and thank them for their work. The pinwheel garden will be planted by WEF volunteers at each school during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-6, 2022.
To plant a pinwheel flower in your teacher’s name, visit the Westborough Education Foundation (WEF) webpage and make a donation of $5 per pinwheel. You will be asked to name your teacher and school. You may also print (from the emailed receipt) a notecard to personalize and give to your teacher. WEF will send each teacher honored an acknowledgment of the flowers planted for them along with who purchased them.
Your tax-deductible donation to the Westborough Education Foundation will fund grants to teachers and other educators for the implementation of innovative educational programs, partnerships and enrichment activities that are outside the funding normally provided in the school budget.
Purchase your pinwheels at www.westborougheducationfoundation.com
