Spam
and How to Avoid It
What is Spam?
Spam are unsolicited emails or messages. You may think these are not important, but they cost money to produce, take time to sort through, and they are a common way for malware and viruses to spread. Spam can be emails from companies giving you new offers for their products, or hackers trying to obtain your email.
Avoiding Spam
Avoiding Spam is pretty simple when you put your mind to it. You can install a spam filter on your email to avoid spam from showing up in your inbox. If you receive spam, do not reply to it. This will inform the spammer that your email is active, and that makes it worth more. You can also create email addresses only for spam, so you don't have to go through all of the junk when looking for important emails or messages.
