Parent Opinion Survey for South Carolina State Reporting

At the school, district, and state level your feedback is always important to us. As we ramp up for state testing one of the items that factors in to our overall profile is the parent, student, and teacher survey. This Parent Link will open up a letter that provides a link and the access code with which to complete the parent opinion survey. As a choice school, this feedback is especially important to us because we know that families will look at the feedback from others in helping decide where to send their child to middle school. Please take a moment to provide some feedback that we can use to celebrate or to grow from. Either way, thank you for your feedback and unconditional support of Fisher Middle School.

After School STEAM Workshops

Starting Tuesday, April 20 and ending Thursday, May 27, Fisher will host STEAM workshops every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. Each week, students will hear from leaders in the industries of Video Gaming and Computer Science Technology. If you have ever considered a career in these fields, you will want to join us. There will be workshops on College Planning, Financial Aid & Financial Literacy, Video Game Development & Concepts, Broadcasting, AR/VR, and the Keys To Success in the Gaming and Esports industry. Ladies, have you thought about what it might be like to have a career in computer science? There are also several unique courses designed specifically for you.

Electronic Devices at School

Please be informed that students who bring electronic equipment to school do so at their own risk of said items being lost, broken, or even stolen. Greenville County Schools issues Chrome books to all students for educational purposes and Items such as phones, earbuds, Airpods, handheld gaming devices, smart-watches, etc. are not requirements for school. If brought, these items should never be loaned to other students. The school holds no responsibility to the recovery or replacement of said items. If your child chooses to bring personal effects to school there is an implied risk and while someone may assist when possible, school personnel shall not to expected to stop the teaching and learning process at Fisher. Please discuss safe care with your student and give consideration to having your student leave valuable electronics and personal technology at home.

Dress Code

Please ensure that your student is maintaining dress code expectations at all times. Sweat pants, leggings, and blue jeans are not part of our daily expected dress code. As we are now in 4th Quarter there is very little that should be unclear about our daily expectations for dress at Fisher.

We provide a number of dress down day opportunities for our students so students can wear their favorite attire. Dress down days may be assigned your child's team of teachers or by administration. Either way, an adult should signify that your child is having a dress down day. It is VERY unlikely that we will announce a dress down day via SnapChat or TikTok but you can check our website or Facebook page for any dress down day opportunities.

Our specific dress code is linked below.
