Important Information
Parent Conferences: Monday, October 10th
You should have received an email from your homeroom teacher about conferences on October 10th. Make sure you click the link and sign up for a time because they are first come first serve! :)
Fire Prevention Poster Contest
Posters are due October 12th. This year’s theme is “Don’t Wait, Check the Date: Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years”. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Field Day:
Field Day will be October 14th from 8-10 am. Lunch will not be in the cafeteria or at our regular scheduled time. Please provide a lunch for your child on this day. Peanut Butter Drive:
As a part of our Service Outreach project, 7 Super Stars Team will be collecting peanut butter jars at Skaggs Elementary from September 12th to September 30th, 2016. Please have your student bring in a jar of peanut butter. Please see attached flyer for more information. Tomorrow is the last day!
Spirit Wear
If you are interested in ordering spirit wear please check out the attached order form. Shirts are $15.00. Please make checks out to Skaggs PTA.
I-station
I-station handouts will be coming home with your student's today! On the handout there will be their login and password. I-station is an award-winning, comprehension e-learning program used by more than four million students and educators around the world. It helps students learn and grow in their reading skills.
World Day of Bully Prevention:
Monday, October 3rd is World Day of Bullying Prevention! Students are asked to wear a blue shirt to help stop bullying and cyber-bullying for kids. Let's put an end to other digital abuse, hatred, and racism as well. We will have a lesson with the kids over what bullying looks like and how to prevent it.
