Charity Projects Avaliable

Kerry has been hard at work organizing current charity projects.

We have 10 finished quilts for 2020. We are currently on target to meet our 2020 goal! If you would, please look in your inbox. No matter if you are interested in cutting, piecing, or quilting, there is a project available. Please respond about the projects you are interested in, and Kerry is happy to arrange drop off to you.

New Charity Block

Playful Pinwheels is the charity block for the quarter! Instructions can be downloaded HERE.
Big picture

Pillow Case Program

The pillow case program has taken off, and there is a greater need for pillowcase fabric. If you have any you would like to donate or if you are planning to shop for some soon, Kerry is specifically looking for juvenile prints, coordinating solids, and tone on tone.

Programming Wise

At the May meeting we will reveal the "Assigned Color" challenges!

Ongoing challenges are "Bag your Stash" and the "No Stress Pin Cushion Swap"

The retreat has been capped this year with safety being the top priority. There is a wait-list open. If you have questions, please ask!

This month will bring plenty of content to the guild from other sources such as blogs and social media accounts. Check out the Instagram account @rocketcitymqg and our Facebook page for those links.

Fun hashtags to explore this month: #freemotionquilting #quiltedbag #zipperpouch #wip and #sewyourscraps

Maybe these spark joy and inspiration for you!

Memorial Day

May is also a time of remembrance. Memorial Day reminds us that freedom is not free. Thank you to all of our members who serve, have served, or have a family member that served.
