HELP WESTPARK WIN - VOTE FOR OUR PHOTO
National Red Ribbon Photo Contest
Voting starts Thursday, Nov. 3rd!
Here's what you need to know:
The voting period is from Thursday, November 3 at 12:00am (ET) and ends on Thursday, November 17 at 11:59pm (ET) at http://redribbon.org/vote. The voting portal will not be live until November 3rd.
FINDING YOUR ENTRY
Once the voting portal is live, locate your entry in one of two ways:
- There's a search bar where you can type Westpark School or Irvine OR
- Select category (school) and region (9) in the dropdown menu on the page
VOTING
Voting is limited to one vote per entry per 24 hour period per person, so if someone votes at 7am on Monday, they will have to wait until 7:01am on Tuesday to vote again.
Please note that voting is tracked by IP address. Some schools and businesses share an IP address, which means if someone at your school already voted for your entry, there is a chance that everyone else using a computer at the same school may be blocked from voting for 24 hours. Remember to try voting on mobile device and to vote on home computers, too.
SHARING YOUR ENTRY
Once you locate your entry, you will see a "Share This" button. Click on that button and you will see your entry's unique URL (webpage) which you can share widely with your contacts. You will also be able to send out the link via social media sites.
Annual Survey - Please Complete
Please take a few minutes to complete our IUSD Annual Survey! This is the second year that every school in Irvine Unified will disseminate a climate survey. In an effort to eliminate multiple surveys, we have incorporated the Local Control Funding Formula/Local Control Accountability Plan survey and portions of the state Healthy Kids survey. By making this an annual district-wide effort, we can begin to understand our most compelling needs and measure our growth over time.
Understanding our stakeholders perceptions regarding school climate and home-school-community relations is critical for guiding our continuous improvement efforts and focusing resources through our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) to ensure that we serve our students, support our staff, and remain connected to our communities.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete our survey! We know that this is a busy time of year and we appreciate you dedicating your time to provide us candid and constructive feedback. The survey will be open from October 17, 2016 – November 20, 2016. All responses to this survey are anonymous and will be kept strictly confidential.

IPSF KICKS OFF ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
As we celebrate 20 years of impact, we also celebrate the parents and corporate partners whose generosity has made our success possible!
It is only with the support of our entire community that we can make a difference. We ask that each family consider a gift to our Annual Campaign. Your participation at any level makes an impact!
Make your gift by November 20, and the City of Irvine will double match your donation! This means that with a $50 donation, $150 will go toward your child's education. We need your support to maximize this opportunity!
