Sunshine Preschool
April Newsletter
Spring is Here!
April is a very busy month! Just a few of the topics we will be studying are the concepts of weather, animals, and the life cycle of plants.
Field Trip!
On April 15th, our class will be going on a field trip to the Zoo! Please pack a lunch for your child in a brown paper bag and be sure to apply sunscreen before sending them. Also be sure your child is wearing their Sunshine Preschool t-shirt on this day!
Sunshine Preschool Trike-A-Thon
Our Trike-a-Thon will be held on the 23rd at 9:30. We need all the volunteers we can get so please sign up if you are available to help out!
Earth Day
Earth Day is on the 7th and as a class we will be discussing reducing, reusing and recycling all month long. As a way to give back, the class is going to be walking around the building and playground to be picking up trash and seeing what materials can be used for crafts. If you have any recyclables you think the kids could use for this activity you can bring them in all month long and drop them off in the box in the office.
Allergies
As the weather is changing rapidly, allergies are an important thing to watch out for. Here are some things to look for and be sure to address.
Sun Care
Here are some helpful tips for you and your child to stay safe in the sun as the warm weather is quickly approaching us!
