Weekly Brief
Please keep up the great work!
1. Thank you for submitting each departments key learning targets for the year. This is critical information considering we will not be returning. We need to begin thinking about the summer as a Rapid Recovery Program that falls into four buckets:
- Traditional summer school and how we offer classes. We are working on this currently.
- Offering Original Credit. What does this look like?
- Students who don't need summer school but may need additional time after the year end date to complete work. This may be due to medical a reason.
- Students who passed but may need additional enrichment considering they did not learn face-to-face. This would be a summer enrichment series.
2. Finalizing grading structure for each of our marking periods.
Up Ahead: Finishing Strong
1. Seniors only have 18 days of school left. I would ensure that everyone has been contacted and is on track. I know the counselors and others are actively engaging students. Thank you.
2. Student and Parent survey. This is an effort to collect data regarding how well students are managing their work load and online learning.
3. Finalize plans for "virtual ceremony."
4. Virtual Summer Home Visits.
