ROMS Parent Night for ROE April 6th
Important Information to Help Your Student at home and school!
AT HOME - Students are expected to do the following.
Math
- All students need to make a fact grid (multiplication chart daily. Reflex Math for extra practice. Bring to Math class daily.
ELAR
- Read daily and talk to someone about what you read!
Science - Progress Learning Science - My Study Plan - Recommended Topics
- If your recommended topics plan has yellow and red standards, you need to turn at least one green per day. This extra practice will help you MASTER the Science STAAR!
CHECK SKYWARD!!!
We are teaching our kiddos to be self reliant so that when they transition to 6th grade they will know how to find their grades, missing assignments, messages, and more. This should be checked at least twice a week, if not daily (students). This helps students stay on track and they can see instantly if there is something they need to fix, submit, or talk to the teacher about.
Make-up missed work from an absence or work that was not completed in class will be considered homework. If your student was absent they have the number of days they were out to return missed work. For example, if your student was sick and missed two days of school, they have two days to complete the work they missed while they were out. It is the students responsibility to ask for makeup work.
