SMS Parent Meeting
Big thank you to Lauren Friedberg, parent and community member, who presented easy ways to manage your student's cell phone data, social media usage and online responsibility. Click HERE to view the meeting slides, but please note that our conversation, examples and discussion points were more than what is presented on slides, but we hope this helps you understand topics discussed. If you have questions or want more details, feel free to contact administration for more information.
You will view slides that feature quick ways to help support and monitor your student's social media and cell phone usage, links to internet sites that help you understand blind spots in social media apps, how to set timers, or how to shut data off.
The meeting also included a question and answer and community support portion, where parents and administration were able to discuss needs and supports and collaborative ways we can find solutions. Our hope is to invite parents in often throughout the year (this and those to come) to build a community of support and transparency and provide needed resources.
SMS strives to create a safe and positive learning environment for all students and we appreciate your support and contributions.

Below is a link to the recording of this year's College Credit Plus Meeting. The Intent to Participate Form is due no later than April 1st, 2022 for students who plan to participate in CCP for Summer 2022, Fall 2022,and/or Spring 2023.
