Google Drive... storage for everything!

Did you know that you can put any type of file into your Google Drive? While Google Apps can't always interact with different file types, your Drive can still hold them. As teachers (users of Google Apps For Education), we're lucky that our Drives are unlimited. Check this quick tutorial for adding files to your Drive to back things up and/or to store them for future use!

Growth Mindset... Not Just for Students!

As many teachers do this time of year, I'm dreaming about my summer plans. I'm going to play my bass, read, do a little traveling to see family and friends, swim, do yoga, etc. I can't wait to grill every night and sit out on the patio and enjoy life! BUT... I need to keep learning and growing too. Fostering a growth mindset isn't just something we encourage in our students.. we can also benefit as educators from this as well. Below is a great blog post from Emily Diehl, from MindsetWorks. How will you challenge your mind this summer?

Domain Video Approval on YouTube?

Hey, if you've seen a message, "This video is not currently approved for D64", don't panic! Under YouTube/Google's management system, staff can now "approve" videos for use in the District. Know that when you hit approve, it's approved for all students in the D64 domain (not just your school), and that the District can see that you've approved it. So, continue to seek out and find great new YouTube videos, and if they're appropriate, approve them!
