The Finland Phenomenon
A Free Film Screening Sponsored by Parent University
Why is Finland's school system ranked #1 in the world?
And what can we learn from Finland's success? Through this 60-minute documentary, we'll look inside "the world's most surprising school system," where students spend less time in school, have little homework, and are hardly ever tested. Furthermore, teachers are rarely evaluated and their work is highly valued. Though Finland's methods are unconventional, their students outperform the rest of the world in nearly all measured areas. How can this be?
