The Great Sand Dunes
I love going to the sand dunes they are so much fun. They rise about 750 feet all the way from the San Luis Valley on the western base of Sangre de Cristo. They were created as the Great Sand Dunes Monument on March 17th, 1932. The park includes 44,246 acres. I love going to The Great Sand Dunes.
The Gator Farm
The Gator Farm looks like a scary place but it is really fun. There also is other reptiles like turtles, lizards, and a lot more. It surprisingly has birds too. It was open to the public in 1990. It is located 17 miles north of Alamosa it started as a tilapia farm in 1977. It is a reptile rescue as well. I love going to The Gator Farm.
