4th Grade Cosmo Chronicle

Week 2

Week 2 at a Glance

This week in 4th grade we truly got into the swing of things. If you had the opportunity to walk through our neighborhood you would have seen small groups collaborating at the counters, avid readers pouring into great books on beanbag chairs, and communities of learners celebrating their similarities and differences in a large circle.

If you were a fly on our walls you would have learned a ton this week. You would have seen engineers in the science room designing catapult prototypes. You would have heard poets reading sample master poems and starting to create their own. You would have smelt the dry erase markers in math as our mathematicians sketched area models to answer authentic math problems.

No matter where you found yourself in 4th grade this week you would have been surrounded by a caring community filled with joyful learning.

Highlights of the Week

Need to Knows:

DOJO- We are using an online behavior App called Dojo. Passwords were sent home so students and parents can see how many points were earned for the day.

Wednesday Folders- Purple Camacho folders will be sent home each Wednesday with information for the week. We ask that folders are returned on Thursday.

Twitter- We have found that twitter is a great place to share up to date classroom happenings with our followers. Follow us on Twitter @MrsBritt8 @Kaisersclass @srichard_9
