Please help support the students of LVMS...
Thank you to all of you who have already made donations to our campus! 100% of your donations go to LVMS! This fundraiser will be going on for the next week.
What does LVMS do with your donations?
Last year, we used this account to purchase STAAR snacks & water bottles for every student on every test administered (that’s over 1,300 water bottles & 1,300 bags of cheez-its), breakfast for students on test days ($575), LVMS campus beautification projects (cleaned, repaired, & repainted courtyard/front entrance, etc.), Capturing Kids’ Hearts teacher training ($750 per teacher). We would also like to purchase 6-8 picnic tables for outside the cafeteria this year. We will incur many of these costs every year.

The LVMS Bleacher Report...
Volleyball (Coach DuBose & Coach Holt)
We had a wonderful volleyball season this year! I am sad to see to see it come to a close. Volleyball season is a great way to kick the year off and get LVMS athletics rolling in the right direction. I cannot express enough how hard these girls worked day in and day out. From beginning to end, their efforts were undeniable. It was unfortunate that the Blue Teams were not able to wrap up the season the way it was intended due to the District Tournament being cancelled, but I am so thankful that I had the privilege to coach and get to know these young ladies. I cannot wait to watch them grow as the year progresses.
We finished out the season with the following records:
7th Grade Gold Team- 4-1
7th Grade Blue Team- 3-3
8th Grade Gold Team- 1-5
8th Grade Blue Team- 2-4
Go Lady Vikings!

Lago Vista Vikings play at Troy next Thursday to finish up their season!
SUPER TEAM:
The Vikings rec. the opening kickoff. They drove the ball down-the-field and used up 13:00
minutes of the 1st half running clock only to see the ball be turned-over a fumbled pitch. During the drive the ‘Super Team’ had big plays offensively by Reece Whitelaw, Zach Johnson, Nathan Cannon & Chandler Henson. They also had blocking up front by David
Rague, Jonah Martin, Jacob Rogers, Nolan Rogers, Ruben Johnson, Gonzalo Hildalgo, Joe

Academy scored on its next possession. LV-8 & Bees 8. Kaleb Alderete swiped the ball on the Bees first possession but then LV threw in interception after the recovery to end the half. LV-8 & Academy 0.
Both teams traded possessions & then LV had L. Powers dive into the endzone. The 2pt. conversion run was stuffed by the Vikings. LV-14 & Bees 8. A. Hernandez intercepted the Bees QB. The Vikings moved the ball down field to the 14 yardline. and then ran out the clock in Victory Formation! LV-14 & Academy 8. Making defensive plays for the Vikings: N. Yetly, Rory Maxwell, D. After the 2nd Qtr began N. Weichman connects with Preston Coffey on a pass to only see the Bees take the ball away . Academy scored on this possession to make it LV-8 & Bees 16. The following Viking drive had J. Hernandez & S. Hurley carring the load behind a strong offensive line of Anjel Martinez, Jack Hood, Nathan Cannon, Ruairi Kent & William Hamilton. Sam Hurley scored the next LV touchdown and he also scored the 2pt. conversion to end the first half. LV 16 & Bees 16.
The Bees opened the 2nd half with a reverse play and then scored 4 plays later, also converted the 2pt. play. LV-16 & Academy 24.
