Here at Hearthstone Coffee House and Pub, we serve things from coffee to pastries to clubs to beers! Creative author Aldous Huxley will be here from 10 am to 6 pm to sign your favorite book of his. Not only is he here to sign, but he will also be reading parts of his last book titled Island.

Aldous Huxley was born in Godalming in the Surrey county in Southern England. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He developed a disease as a teenager which left him blind for a few years. He has written 47 books throughout his lifetime, and his 47th book is titled Island.

Brief Description of "Island"
In Island, his last novel published in 1962, Huxley arrives on a Utopian Island. As a newspaperman named Will Faranby, Huxley ends up shipwrecked on the Pala Island. He winds up meeting people who revolutionize all his beliefs and values. Island is an understory of what really happened in Huxley's life. His drug usage had a huge impact on this book. Island is a relatable and great read for anyone because it incorporates things that deal with drugs and conflict.
