Welcome Back

It is hard to believe that we have only been in school 2 days in the last four weeks!

It has been 4 weeks since your students have had any type of normalcy with school. Monday will be almost like starting over after a summer break. With that in mind, it will be necessary to reteach our students what the rules are for each place that they visit during the day. Our hope is that they would remember, but it has been 4 weeks…Be patient with them and remind them how important they are to you and to our school

Walk to Learn will start up again on Monday. Again be patient with your students. Many of them may not have worked on anything related to school for 4 weeks. This week may be difficult for them to get back in the groove. But I know they will (and you will too!)

We have missed many planning and committee meetings that were scheduled before Spring Break. We will have extended planning/collaboration this Friday to make up what we were going to do on the Friday before Spring Break. Follow that same schedule and agenda as we will work on the Science and Social Studies Standards/topics for the rest of the year. You will receive a separate email with more in depth science and social studies goals for each grade level.

We will not have a faculty meeting this Wednesday. We need to meet as committees before the faculty meeting.

Faculty meeting will be the following Wednesday, March 25 at 3:05 in the library. We will be making many decisions that will affect our school and students this last nine weeks. Please plan to be there.

The cafeteria and cafeteria bathrooms were repainted during Spring Break. Remind students to keep their hands and feet off of the walls. If we take good care of this space as we have done in the past, it will last us another 14 years.

Glad to see you again,
