Linda's Letter
Dear Preschool Families,
Merry Christmas! We are looking forward to a fun and joy-filled few weeks spending time with your children as we enjoy their excitement and anticipation during this most magical season of Christmas. We will have fun together sharing Christmas stories, making ornaments and cards, exploring our Christmas sensory bins and nativity sets, and singing Christmas songs - new and old. My sincere hope is that during this time of faith and family, the true meaning of Christmas will fill your hearts with His love and perfect peace.
Christmas Blessings,
Ms. Linda
Director - Unity Preschool

Teacher Feature: Ms. Beth and Ms. Laura
This week we are featuring our Frog Class teachers: Ms. Beth and Ms. Laura.
Ms. Beth Davis is in her second year at Unity Preschool. She is our Lead Teacher in the Threes (Frog) class and works with Ms. Laura. She was previously our Threes Assist and a former third, eighth and special education teacher as well as the Preschool Coordinator at her church. Ms. Beth and her husband, Andrew, have a son, Bingham, who is a first-grade student at Riverview Elementary School. Ms. Beth enjoys painting, decorating, and thrift shopping. Ms. Beth and her family are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill.
Here are a few of Ms. Beth's favorites:
Favorite Foods: sushi, Mexican, burgers, shrimp-n-grits, cheesy dairy-filled casseroles, heavy apps & charcuterie, food truck creations ... I love all food!
Favorite Music: everything from 90s country to bluegrass to old school hip hop to Otis Redding to Led Zeppelin
Favorite Book: "The Jesus Storybook Bible" by Sally Lloyd Jones. I love this story Bible for young children and it is what I love to gift to new parents. It has all the truths of the Gospel told as one big picture, reminding us that God is the hero! We have read it over and over at our house.
Favorite Movie: “Steel Magnolias” and "It's a Wonderful Life"
Favorite Activities: decorating, painting, jewelry making, and rescuing treasures from estate sales and flea markets. I also have an ornament-collecting problem and love to create a super-full Christmas tree!
