NUJ Manchester and Salford branch takes a stand against the fascist BNP in defence of trade unionism and journalism.

Nick Griffin is currently the North West MEP – and is standing again in the 2014 elections. We must ensure he does not win.

Nick Griffin is a misogynistic, racist, homophobic Holocaust-denier who has no place in modern politics – and has no right to represent tolerant, welcoming, multi-cultural Manchester and Salford.

He and his party want to place themselves in Europe and take advantage of the rise of fascism in the face of global austerity; we cannot let this happen.

The Manchester and Salford Branch of the NUJ will campaign to stop Nick Griffin securing his place as an MEP.

You can come along to the next branch meeting to find out how we can and why we must do this.

Some of Nick Griffin's vile quotes ...
