Spectators Permitted at Race For Education

Come join us on Thursday, October 14 to cheer us on at our Race For Education event. Spectators should remain socially distanced from one another and remain in the grassy area only at the sides of the raceway. Parking available at the Salford Hills parking lot or along Barndt Road.


Here's the schedule:


K2-AM & 4th grade: 9:00 am – 10:00 am

K1-AM & 5th grade: 10:15 am – 11:15 am

1st grade & K2-PM: 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm

2nd grade & 3rd grade: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

2021 Fall Fest: Sat Oct 9 / Sun Oct 10

The 2021 FALL FEST is on Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10th from 11am-7pm at the Franconia Community Park. Both days will be filled with *FREE* activities and entertainment for the entire family. Enjoy a gigantic hay maze, stocked pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, fun hay rides, many performances by local bands, thrilling first responder demonstrations, stilt walker, balloon artists and MUCH more! Don’t forget the extremely impressive FIREWORKS show on Saturday night!! A great selection of food will be available for purchase, many local vendors for our shoppers and awesome Zipline rides for just $5!


Coming soon: **FREE PUMPKIN VOUCHERS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE SOUDERTON AREA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS**.

COVID-19 Testing Sites

The Montgomery County Health Dept. has expanded COVID-19 testing throughout the County. Beginning Monday, October 11th, they are going to reopen the Green Lane test site and increase the hours of operation at all locations. We are planning to reopen the Lansdale site in the near future. The new schedule is as follows:

Home and School Meeting: Tuesday, October 12: 6PM

Join us for our monthly Home and School meeting on Tuesday, October 12 at 6PM. (The calendar that went home this week says 7PM, but it is, indeed, at 6PM.) Bring your own lawn chair. Drive around to the Old Sumneytown Pike side of the Salford Hills building to park. We will be meeting outside, socially distanced in the grass by the outdoor classroom. Hear about the things we've already done together so far - Kindness Rocks, Bus Driver Appreciation - and our exciting fundraiser just around the corner - the Race for Education. (Childcare provided.) Hope to see you there!

As a parent or guardian of a Salford Hills student, you are automatically a member of Salford Hills Home & School Association. We invite and welcome you to attend the monthly meetings, usually held on the second Tuesday evening each month. (Babysitting is provided free of charge.) These meetings keep you informed about activities at Salford Hills and HSA activities.
