John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy was born in Brooklyn on May 29, 1917. JFK was our youngest president, he was only in office for up to 3 years before he was assassinated. It happened in Dallas, Texas at 12:30 pm. JFK and his workers were in Dallas for many reasons, but eh most important one was political. JFK didn't want anything to affect is re-electing for next year.
The JFK shooting
JFK was shot in the back of the head. There were 3 shots fired. One hit JFK in the neck and the back of the head.
Lee Harvey Oswald
Lee Harvey Oswald was the person who assassinated John F. Kennedy. Two days after Oswald killed JFK, he was assassinated by J.D Tippit.
The Riffle
Lee Harvey Oswald used a bolt-action riffle. Three shots were fired from this riffle. Two hit JFK and the other one hit the Governor in the chest.
The Assassination
at 12:30 pm, in front of the Texas School Book Deposit y Building, 3 loud gunshots were fired. Cheers went to screams in a quick second. On Main Street a parade was going on to celebrate the visiting of JFK, he was sitting in a car with his wife, the Governor and his wife. When the first shot was fired it hit JFK in the back of the neck, he held out his bloody hand to his wife. she then knew something was wrong, then the second gun shot was fired and hit him in the back of his head. The third shot hit the Governor in the chest, both were immediately rushed to the hospital. At 1:00, JFK was pronounced dead.
