Establishing Roots at Beal School
A message from Principal Girardi & Assistant Principal Hoey
Picture of the week- Celebrating Beal's Media Center
September 12, 2021
This Monday and next we continue the important work of building relationships and growing our partnerships with you our parents. Please join us at our Curriculum Nights where you will have the opportunity to hear from Principal Girardi and Assistant Principal Hoey about big picture learning and goals at Beal, followed by visiting your child's classroom and connecting with your their teacher about learning this year.
A few important reminders following Dr. Sawyer's Superintendent's Update last week:
-We request that only one parent/caretaker attend from each of a student's households. In most cases, this means one parent/caretaker will attend per student. In cases of separation/divorce where the parents live apart, each may come. If there are two students from a family in the same school but in different grades or classes, one parent/caretaker may attend for each student.
-Everyone who enters our school for Curriculum Night must wear a mask.
There is more information about Curriculum Nights below.
Please enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend and we look forward to our first five day week! Let's go Patriots!
Sincerely,
Chris Girardi and Shelley Hoey

***Arrival and Dismissal Routines***
Parent Drop Off and Pick Up
Thank you to all for the significant improvement in time during parent drop off and pick up. We continue to get better each day and have decreased our afternoon pick-up window to about 20 minutes beginning to end. Please help us make this more efficient by:
-remaining in your car and allow us to assist your child get into and out of the car by themselves. If your child needs your help, please let us know and we will pull you forward out of the line.
-using the looping lines marked on the pavement and pull right up to the numbered cone when it is your turn.
-continuing to have your child's name posted in your window and have an ID ready.
-sending in a note and calling the school office if you have a different dismissal routine for that day.
