The Renaissance

How the Renaissance Effected the World

The renaissance impacted the world by spreading knowledge and awareness. The text states,”…scholars… learned about philosophy of humanism and saw great works of renaissance art. When they returned home, they brought with them this newfound knowledge and awareness, which in turn began to influence the cultures of these other nations” (DE 18.1). For example, King Francis 1 of France invited the early renaissance artists to influence the culture of France. Many invading societies were very impressed with renaissance art and brought the ideas back to their home nations. In conclusion, the world flourished from the ideas of the renaissance, and ideas of humanism and art influenced cultures of the world.
